The Borno Geographic Information Service (BOGIS) has issued a crucial alert to the public regarding land transactions in Borno State. The agency emphasizes that any purchase or sale of land without prior consent from the GOVERNOR is a violation of the Land Use Act and constitutes a criminal offense.
This was contains in a statement signed and made available by public information officer, BOGIS Hajiya Halima Abatcha Jarawa unhehalf
The statement says BOGIS has identified several areas where illegal land activities are prevalent. These include:- Molai axis along Damboa/Biu Road, Moromti/Njimtilo along Kano Road, Chabbal/Limanti/Al-Ansar University along Gubio Road , Tungushe along Monguno Road, Gongulong Lawan to Dusuman/Koshebe , Muna axis along Dikwa/Ngala Road, Kofa/Dalori along Bama Road ,
Gombole Road after Giwa Barracks.
The agency has also noted that illegal transactions are being conducted by certain land vendors, including, Reality Land Vendor, Hammab Land Vendor, A.A. Aji best, -Jigalta Land Vendor, Guarantee Land Vendor, M. Gana Properties and Estate Agents , Pro-Shelter Property Enterprises,
Multe Global Ventures Ltd. , And others too numerous to list.
BOGIS strongly advises the public to avoid engaging in land transactions with the listed vendors or in the mentioned areas without the required consent. Such transactions are at the individual’s own risk and could lead to severe legal consequences, including the potential loss of resources.
