The Nigerian military has intensified its operation against terror kingpin Bello Turji, tracking his movements with precision as part of a strategic effort to eliminate him once and for all.
A senior military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that security forces have been closely monitoring Turji’s hideouts and activities, ensuring that his reign of terror in the North West will soon come to an end.
“Our intelligence is solid. His movements are no longer a secret to us. It’s only a matter of time before he is neutralized,” the source revealed.
Bello Turji has long been on Nigeria’s most-wanted list for his orchestrated attacks, kidnappings, and killings across Zamfara, Sokoto, and neighboring states. The military’s renewed offensive, backed by air and ground operations, is tightening the noose around him.
Security analysts believe that eliminating Turji could significantly cripple the banditry network operating in the region. Meanwhile, residents in affected areas remain hopeful that his end will bring lasting peace.
As the military closes in, the question remains: Will Bello Turji escape, or has his time finally run out?
