The Bauchi State Government has recorded 70% Budget execution and accelerated development projects in the 2025 fiscal year.
In a Press statement from the office of the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Bala, Abdul Wahab Muhammad says revenue generation has also exceeded initial projections signaling a robust fiscal outlook and a promising economic future for the state.

In an extraordinary session on Wednesday, where the State executive Council conducted a comprehensive review of the 2025 budget performance and ongoing developmental initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of Bauchi residents.

Healthcare Upgrade:
The ongoing renovation of the Bauchi Specialist Hospital (BACAS) is set to significantly improve healthcare delivery by enhancing medical facilities and services across the state.
Infrastructure Expansion:
The establishment of new roads in the Government Residential Area (GRA) will boost urban development, improve accessibility, and facilitate smoother transportation within the area.
Sectoral Strengthening:
Governor Mohammed emphasized the critical need to bolster education, health, and agriculture sectors, recognizing these as pillars for sustainable growth and socio-economic advancement.
Governor Mohammed also stressed the importance of strict budgetary discipline and prudent financial management in achieving the state’s development goals.
