His Royal Highness the Emir of Bauchi and Chairman Council of Chiefs Bauchi State Dr Rilwan Sulaiman Adamu has approved the appointment of Sarkin Duguri and Wakilin Bauchi Alhaji Adamu Muhammad as a Councillor in the Bauchi Emirate Council making him the sixth Council member representing the District Heads in the Emirate.
A statement signed by the Emirate Council Secretary Alhaji Shehu Mudi Muhammad via a letter no. LGSC/LGA/S/17/ T.1/80 and dated 2 July 2024 says the appointment is to fill the vacant position as a representative of the District Heads in the Emirate.
Alhaji Adamu Muhammad who is also the Chairman Bauchi State Basic Education Board now joins the traditional title holders of the likes of Madakin Bauchi, Ajiya, Galadima, Jarmai, Sarkin Yaki and Waziri.
