Bandits Storm Bakori Community, Kill Two, Abduct Woman, Children

Bandits in their numbers at about 10pm on Tuesday stormed Makurdi community in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State, killed two persons and abducted a woman and her two children.
The bandits, a reliable source said, “they started their operations in the community from the resident of Alhaji Magaji Mallaha Makurdi, a business man who specialises in supplying farm products to companies.
They later killed him while shooting sporadically inside his compound before they left with his wife, two children and phone.”
According to the source,source “the bandits also killed a health worker, identified as ‘Dini’ while returning to his Makurdi resident after hanging out at a friend’s barbing shop till about 10pm on that fateful day.”
The late Zaharadin who hails from Safana LGA is said to be seeking refuge in Makurdi from the bandits menace when he finally met his end.
Efforts to get more detail on the attack from the state police spokesman SP Isah Gambo has not been responded to as at the time of filing this report.
