Babagana Bukar Wakil, Maiduguri
A former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Borno State, Hon. Usman Mahdi Badeiri, has extended Ramadan greetings to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
In a goodwill message marking the commencement of the holy month, Badeiri prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the leaders long life, sound health, wisdom and strength in the discharge of their responsibilities.
He urged them to continue to provide leadership anchored on justice, peace and prosperity for the benefit of the people.
The former PDP chairman also called on Muslims in Borno State and across Nigeria to use the sacred period of Ramadan to offer sincere prayers for lasting peace, improved security and sustainable development in Borno and the country at large.
He expressed hope that the holy month would foster unity, stability and peaceful governance across the nation.
Badeiri further prayed that Allah accepts the fasting, prayers and supplications of the faithful.
