AYAF Urges President Tinubu to Act on Dadiyata’s Abduction

The Arewa Youth Advancement Forum (AYAF), under the leadership of Comrade Mukhtar Sagir Dambatta, has made a heartfelt plea to President Bola Tinubu to use his executive power to expedite the release of abducted activist Abubakar Idris Dadiyata.

Dadiyata has been missing since August 1, 2019, with his whereabouts still unknown.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, Comrade Dambatta praised the government’s efforts to address human rights violations but lamented the lack of progress in Dadiyata’s case.

“We earnestly implore you, Mr. President, to address this matter with the urgency and gravity it deserves,” he stated.

“Your intervention is vital for Dadiyata’s safe return and to ease the suffering of his family and friends.

We also call on your administration to tackle the rising cases of abductions and insecurity in our nation, ensuring the safety of all citizens.

“AYAF appealed to President Tinubu’s sense of justice and compassion, praying for his success and divine guidance in addressing these pressing issues.
