Atiku Abubakar Condemns Attack on Yargoje Village: Calls for Government Actio
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar expressed deep sorrow over the brutal attack on Yargoje village in Kankara LGA, Katsina State, which resulted in numerous deaths and the kidnapping of vulnerable women and children.
Bandits also ambushed a police armoured personnel carrier, killing four officers and two members of the Katsina State Community Watch Corps.
Atiku criticized the government’s apparent helplessness and nonchalance despite substantial defence budgets. He urged the authorities to fulfill their duty to protect citizens.
“These acts of banditry and terrorism have become routine,” he lamented, emphasizing the need for immediate government action.
