APC Rejigs National Secretariat, Appoints Imran Muhammad, Key Advisers to Power New Leadership Drive

Borno State Government

In a decisive move to sharpen coordination and modernise party operations, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a fresh round of strategic appointments at its National Secretariat.

The appointments, approved by the National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, signal a renewed push to strengthen internal leadership, deepen engagement, and reposition the party for effective governance and political mobilisation nationwide.

At the heart of the new structure is Imran Muhammad (@Imranmuhdz), who has been appointed Senior Special Assistant on New Media, a role seen as central to amplifying the party’s digital presence, shaping narratives, and engaging Nigerians—especially the youth—across emerging platforms.

Strategic Brains at the Helm

To reinforce policy depth and political coordination, the APC Chairman named a team of Special Advisers, including:

Sen. Danladi Sankara – Political Matters

Hon. Daniel Reyenieju Oritsegbubemi – National Assembly Matters

Dr. Peace Longdet – Research, Strategy and Planning

Complementing them is a cadre of Advisers tasked with targeted responsibilities:

Hon. Jibrin Abdullahi Surajo – Community Engagement

Mr. Paul Domsing – Special Duties

Party insiders describe the appointments as a deliberate blend of experience, innovation, and generational balance—designed to improve communication flow, policy execution, and stakeholder engagement across all levels of the party.

With this leadership refresh, the APC is projecting confidence in its organisational strength and readiness to meet the evolving demands of party management and national politics.

Congratulations pour in for the new appointees as they assume their roles in service to the party—and the nation.
