Fresh turmoil has engulfed the All Progressives Congress (APC) as Dr. Hafsatu Danladi, who is backed by her loyalists as the party’s “authentic” National Chairperson, has reportedly approved the suspension of factional chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, and the party’s National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, over alleged anti-party activities.
Sources within the Danladi camp disclosed that the decision followed mounting concerns over actions deemed contrary to party discipline, unity, and collective interest. The camp insisted that the move sends a clear signal that no individual, regardless of status, would be allowed to destabilize the party from within.
“This is about preserving the integrity of the APC. Loyalty and order must prevail,” a source close to the development stated.
