The nominee for the position of Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN), has promised to restore integrity and rebuild public confidence in Nigeria’s elections once confirmed.

Amupitan, recently approved by the National Council of State as the next INEC boss, said his focus will be on ensuring transparency, fairness, and credibility in every election conducted under his leadership.

He noted that credible elections are the foundation of peace and development in any country, assuring Nigerians that his administration will work hard to make every vote count.
