In continuation of his inspection tour across local government areas of Katsina State, the Special Adviser LG Inspectorate Hon. Lawal Rufa’i search has visited Batsari LGA to inspect the construction of AMC structure.
The project situated at the premises of the Secretariat of the LGA like in other LGAs of the state was positively in progress.
While discussing with the Chairman of the local council Hon. Mannir Mu’azu Rumah, the Special Adviser registered satisfaction, but observed some areas that need amendments there by directed the Contractor to ensure compliance provided in the Bill of Quantity.
Hon. Lawal Safana however inspected a 2.05 Kilometer township road being constructed by the local council and compacted drainage to control flooding.
He advised the Chairman to regard the drainage as an integral part of the road being constructed, this according to him will support the road from being washed away in this rainy season.
The Special Adviser also advised the Chairman to make submission regarding linking the drainage to the ongoing road project for variation.
Among those that accompanied the Special Adviser include Director of Works Engineer Umar Farouk Abdullahi, Director Inspection Alhaji Wali, and AD Inspection alongside Media Team.
