In a deadly strike on a police convoy in Iran’s troubled Sistan-Baluchistan region, ten officers lost their lives in a brutal ambush.
Though no group has officially claimed responsibility, authorities suspect the hand of Jaish ul-Zulm, a known terrorist faction with a history of targeting security forces in the region.
The attack, which adds to growing unrest in the border province, has intensified calls for a security clampdown as officials work to track down those responsible.
