The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has been thrown into mourning following the death of Late Mrs. Nkoyo Ita John Ikot, mother of two senior officers, including the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer.
In a solemn condolence message, the Commissioner of Police, CP Baba Mohammed Azare, alongside officers and men of the Command, described the loss as painful and irreparable, extending heartfelt sympathies to DSP Nyeneime Ita John and DSP Timfon Ita John.
The Command paid tribute to the deceased as a pillar of strength whose life impacted her family and community, noting that her passing is a significant loss beyond her immediate circle.
Reaffirming solidarity with the grieving officers, the Police assured them of unwavering support during this difficult period, while praying for divine comfort for the family and eternal rest for the departed.
