The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has joined organizations worldwide to commemorate the 2025 Customer Service Week, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to professional, compassionate, and people-centered policing.
Celebrating the event under the theme “Mission Possible,” the Command emphasized its dedication to service excellence and community partnership across the 31 Local Government Areas of the state.
Commissioner of Police, CP Baba Mohammad Azare, fsi, in a goodwill message, appreciated residents for their steadfast support and trust in the police. He assured that the Command remains resolute in strengthening community policing, promoting transparency, and ensuring safety for all.
As part of the weeklong celebration, officers have been directed to deepen engagements with the public, listen to citizens’ concerns, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism in their duties.
Police spokesperson, DSP Timfon John, LLB, Anipr, stated that the Command values constructive feedback as a vital tool for growth and continuous improvement. She urged residents to remain vigilant and collaborate actively with the police to build a safer and more prosperous Akwa Ibom State.
