Akwa Ibom Police Command Greets Citizens on Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating the country’s 65th Independence Anniversary, pledging renewed commitment to peace, security, and unity.

In a goodwill message, the Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Baba Azare, fsi, extended warm felicitations to the people of Akwa Ibom and Nigerians at large, describing the anniversary as “sixty-five years of shared nationhood, sacrifice, resilience, and unwavering commitment to unity, peace, and progress.”

The Police boss noted that Akwa Ibom remains one of the most peaceful states in the federation, crediting the feat to the support of the State Government and the cooperation of citizens.

“As we mark this national milestone, the Command has deployed adequate personnel and resources to ensure a hitch-free celebration across the state. We assure the public of our professionalism and readiness to swiftly respond to any security challenge,” CP Azare assured.

He appealed to Nigerians to celebrate responsibly, remain vigilant, and continue to uphold the values of peace and unity.

“May the peace, unity, and prosperity of Nigeria and our beloved Akwa Ibom endure. Happy 65th Independence Anniversary,” he concluded.
