The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 14, AIG Aliyu Abubakar Musa, has officially commissioned a newly renovated lodging accommodation for officers on special duty at the 27 Police Mobile Force (PMF) Squadron Base, Katsina.
The facility, now fitted with brand-new 6-inch mattresses, was upgraded through the generous support of Alhaji Muhammad Dikko Ladan, CEO of Broadlink Nigeria Ltd.
Speaking at the ceremony on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, AIG Musa praised the donor for his philanthropy and lauded CO 27 PMF Squadron Katsina, ACP Adamu Babayo Sambo, for initiating the project. He noted that the move reflects a shared vision to improve personnel welfare and encouraged other officers to emulate such commitment.
Representing the Katsina State Commissioner of Police, CP Bello Shehu, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Finance and Administration, DCP Aminu Usman Gusau, thanked the donor and urged officers to make judicious use of the facility.
Alhaji Ladan was represented by Alhaji Kabiru Shehu, while the Commanding Officer expressed gratitude to the AIG for attending the event despite his tight schedule.
The ceremony ended with a group photograph of dignitaries and officers present.
