The Acting Governor of Katsina State, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, has hailed Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State on the occasion of his 56th birthday anniversary.
Ag. Governor Jobe commended Governor Zulum exceptional leadership, resilience, and unwavering commitment to public service, particularly in rebuilding communities, promoting peace, and fostering socio-economic development in Borno State.
“The Governor of Borno State has consistently demonstrated courage, vision, and dedication to improving the lives of his people,” Malam Jobe said.
“His tireless efforts to combat insecurity and restore stability in the state have been remarkable. Through strengthened security measures, community engagement, and collaboration with national security agencies, Governor Zulum has worked relentlessly to protect lives, support internally displaced persons, and rebuild communities affected by insurgency.”
Ag. Governor Jobe also highlighted Zulum distinguished academic and professional journey, noting his impressive achievements in education and engineering, his tenure as a professor and rector, and his transformative work as Commissioner for Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement before assuming the governorship of Borno State.
“Governor Zulum leadership extends beyond governance; he has shown courage and compassion in times of crisis, ensuring that no community is left behind in the fight against insecurity,” Malam Jobe added.
