In a startling revelation, prominent activist Chief Rita Lori-Ogbebor has accused the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, of reallocating her property in Abuja to his ally, Kingsley Chinda. The activist alleged that the minister not only facilitated the transfer but also approved title documents for Chinda within an unprecedented two-month timeframe.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, Chief Lori-Ogbebor expressed outrage over what she described as an abuse of office and a blatant disregard for due process. “This is not just about my property; it’s about the rule of law being trampled upon. My property was legally acquired, and the sudden reallocation reeks of favoritism,” she stated.

The property in question is reportedly a prime location within the FCT, sparking further concerns about the integrity of land administration under Wike’s leadership. Critics have called for a thorough investigation into the matter, warning that unchecked actions like these could undermine public trust in the administration.

Efforts to reach the FCT Minister and Kingsley Chinda for comments were unsuccessful at the time of reporting. However, insiders suggest the controversy could escalate, with legal actions likely to follow.

The incident has reignited debates over transparency in the FCT, with observers urging President Tinibu to address growing concerns about favoritism and accountability within his cabinet.
