The Federal Capital Territory FCT Police Command has recorded a major win in its crackdown on crime, arresting several members of a notorious armed robbery and car snatching syndicate on April 11, 2025.
Police sources told Zagazola Makama that the sting operation led to the recovery of a stolen green Mercedes Benz C180, a Beretta pistol, and a cutlass — all found in possession of the suspects.
While the arrest marks a significant breakthrough, security operatives are intensifying efforts to track down fleeing members of the gang and recover more stolen vehicles linked to the criminal network.
