Abibatu Tinubu’ Qur’anic Competition: 30 Winners get ₦10M Cash Gifts

30 Winners of Qur’an Recitation Competition in Memory of President Tinubu Late Mother Abibatu Mogaji Tinubu held the penultimate week, were rewarded with ₦10 million Cash gifts.

150 contestants competed in the competition out of which 30 winners and runners up. 2 among them get 1 million naira each,8 got ₦500,000 others were gifted ₦300,000,₦200,000 and ₦100,000 respectively.

The Competition organized by Senator Bashir Lado, Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly (Senate Matters) was held to commemorate the contribution of late Tinubu in human development.

Chairman Kano State Council of Ulamas Sheikh Ibrahimi .Khalil who also Chaired the event, said that the competition has greatly impacted on the lives of many young Qur’anic reciters who were gifted with Houses, Cars, Hajj seats among others.

He said the aims was beyond the awards, but to serve as spiritual and righteous rewards to the late Mother’s President Tinubu who spent her entire life in the service of humanity.

Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil also said that Senator Lado has fulfilled his promised and achieved great organising a whole Qur’anic Competition with a Hope to comfort her in her grave.

Senator Bashir Lado, said that the Competition started from wards to local governments and to State level. 30 Young Reciters who memorized Quran were given the gifts and at the final of the Competition many Reciters went home with various gifts of Houses, Cars, Cash of One Million, Five Hundred Thousand and a travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Hajj.

Mallam Ibrahim who Represented Senator Bashir Lado, said that they are given cheques to avoid fraud and or failure of Transfer. Warned them of dealing with any Bank officials in the process of collecting their monies so beas to avoid fraudulent Personalities.

Ibrahim Khalil, who represented Senator Bashir Lado, said the Competition empowered Young Reciters who memorized the Holy Book to invest in viable ventures and also sustain the reading of the Quran.
