In a surprising move, President Bola Tinubu has dismissed five ministers from his cabinet in a swift reshuffle aimed at reshaping key ministries. Among those affected are Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs, and Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism.
Also exiting are Prof Tahir Mamman, Minister of Education, Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.
The shake-up, which took many by surprise, is reportedly part of the President’s strategy to reposition his administration for more robust performance in the coming months.
