Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has awarded automatic employment to nine top-performing graduates and two highly disciplined students from Isah Kaita College of Education, Dutsinma.
The announcement was made at the college’s second combined convocation ceremony, which celebrated graduates from the 2013/2014 and 2021/2022 academic sessions, totaling 11,913 NCE recipients.
Governor Radda emphasized his administration’s dedication to rewarding academic excellence and advancing education in the state.
He directed the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to ensure immediate employment of the selected graduates and awarded two million naira each to the three most dedicated staff members of the college.
In addition to his employment initiative, Governor Radda reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the college’s development, including support for its dual NCE and degree programs in affiliation with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Distinguished guests, including the Executive Secretary of TETFUND, Architect Sunday Echono, and the former Provost, Dr. Maigari Abdul, received fellowship awards at the ceremony.
Governor Radda also responded to security concerns at the college, pledging the construction of watch towers for enhanced security.
The event concluded with the commissioning of new facilities, including a convocation square and student hostels, funded by TETFUND.
