In a fresh wave of insurgent activity, Boko Haram has once again crippled the Damaturu-Maiduguri transmission line, barely three weeks after it was restored.
Militants launched a destructive attack on the critical infrastructure, plunging parts of Borno and Yobe states into darkness.
The Attack highlights the group’s continued efforts to disrupt essential services in the region, further complicating recovery efforts in the conflict-ridden Northeast.
Power line had only recently been repaired following previous assaults, showcasing the persistent threat posed by Boko Haram to vital utilities and the local population’s access to electricity.
