Governor Dauda Lawal has vehemently debunked a recent forged memo circulated by APC elements, falsely claiming the Zamfara State Government paid bandits. In a bold statement, Lawal called the forgery a desperate attempt to mislead the public, reaffirming his administration’s unwavering stance against terrorism.
He went further to promise N20 million for intelligence leading to the arrest of notorious bandits, including Turji.
“With what we’ve put in place, and the collaboration between the State, FG, and security forces, Turji will be killed very, very soon. If we sustain the current military pressure, banditry will become history in a span of months,” the Governor declared.
