In a significant blow to terrorism in Katsina State, notorious terrorist leader Sani Wala Burki, infamous for wreaking havoc in Safana and Batsari Local Government Areas, has been killed in a daring joint operation.
Burki and several of his men were neutralized last night during a fierce engagement between local vigilantes and the Katsina Community Watch Corps (CWC) as they attempted to launch another deadly attack on civilians in Safana.
Residents praised the swift action of the security forces, hailing the operation as a crucial step toward restoring peace in the region long terrorized by Burki’s reign of fear.
