Yobe Government Debunks False Social Media Claims on Minimum Wage Approval

The Yobe State Government has strongly refuted a circulating social media post falsely claiming that a new minimum wage has been approved. The government clarified that no official statement has been made regarding the minimum wage, as discussions are still ongoing.

Misleading post, which has been discredited for lacking essential details and authenticity, was also disowned by Daily Trust newspaper, whose logo was falsely used in the post. The paper confirmed that the story does not exist on its official platforms.
