Darussalati Foundation hosted a special prayer session aimed at invoking divine intervention for peace, tranquility, and harmony in Kano State.
The event, attended by numerous dignitaries, Islamic clerics, Commissioner of Information Baba Halilu Dantiye, Acting Managing Director of Abubakar Rimi Television Kano, Hajiya Hauwa Isa Ibrahim and other spirited individuals, took place at Sani Abacha Youth Center, Kano.
Sheikh Mallam Zubair Al-Muhammadi, the founder of Darussalati Foundation, highlighted the importance of uniting for peace during the session, expressed concerns about recent attempts by unpatriotic individuals to disrupt the peace in Kano State, especially amidst the peaceful nationwide protests that were hijacked by hoodlums causing unrest and destruction.
During his address, Sheikh Mallam Zubair Al-Muhammadi emphasized the need for collaborative efforts from religious leaders, traditional title holders, security personnel, and politicians with genuine intentions to combat insecurity in the region.
He commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s leadership and resilience in the face of challenges, urging continued support for his efforts to maintain peace and order in the state.
The Islamic Luminary revealed that, Darussalati Foundation has been actively organizing such prayer sessions since Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf assumed office, demonstrating their commitment to promoting unity and peaceful coexistence in Kano State.
Sheikh Mallam Zubair Al-Muhammadi concluded the session with a prayer for Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, asking for courage and wisdom in steering the state towards progress and prosperity.
