Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has been named the “Most Security Conscious Governor of the Year 2023/2024” by the International Institute of Professional Security (IIPS).
The prestigious award was conferred at the 2024 International Security Conference in Abuja, recognizing Governor Radda’s exemplary leadership and innovative strategies in enhancing security across Katsina State.
Represented by the Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr. Nasir Muazu, Governor Radda expressed his deep appreciation for the honor, dedicating the award to the collective efforts of security personnel, community leaders, and the citizens of Katsina.
“This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our people. We will continue to pursue comprehensive security measures to make Katsina a safer place for all,” Radda remarked.
The award highlights the governor’s proactive measures, including the creation of the Katsina Community Watch Corps and the integration of advanced security technologies.
