The Kano State Commissioner of Internal Security and Special Services, Major General Muhammad Inuwa Idris rtd has welcomed the re-deployed Permanent Secretary to the ministry, Alhaji DanAsabe Yahaya, directors and other supporting staff who were also posted as pioneer staff of the ministry.
The commissioner who was full of joy and happiness when he met his staff for the first time, described them as backbone of meaningful development and partners in progress.
Major General Muhammad Idris in company of the Permanent Secretary and other staff went round to see the offices allocated to the ministry which are under renovation.
He therefore, directed the Permanent Secretary to liaise with the contractor to ensure quality and timely completion.
On his remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Alhaji DanAsabe Yahaya congratulated the commissioner on his appointment on behalf of all staff of the ministry and prayed to Almighty Allah to guide and protect him throughout his tenure and beyond.
He then urged the staff to be punctual and dedicate themselves to their responsibility in accordance with the civil service rules and regulations,as they were carefully selected to the ministry based on their track record of service.
