In response to the recent tragic incident in Kawori, where an improvised explosive device detonated, resulting in the deaths of 16 people and leaving several others critically injured, the Borno State Government has declared a 24-hour curfew across the state.
The curfew, imposed by Governor Prof. Babagana Umar Zulum in consultation with security officials, aims to restore law and order amid rising tensions. Residents are urged to remain calm and law-abiding during this period.
ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, the Police Public Relations Officer, emphasized the importance of the curfew in ensuring public safety and announced that further updates will be provided as necessary.
