The Management team of the Nguru Local Education Authority hosted the delegation proprietors of the Islamiyya School schools Association operating in the general area of the Local Government in order to discussed the way forward before embarking on the long vocation slated to begin on the 2nd August, 2024.

During the meeting, the Alhaji Hamisu Ado, the Education Secretary of the Nguru Local Government, Yobe State, stated that the existing complementary roles between the LEA and Private Islamiyya Proprietors Association is yeilding positive result.

Therefore, there is the need for both parties to maintain it.

Ado, equally emphasizes the need for all the Islamiyya School in Nguru Local Government to get registered with Islamic and Arabic Education Board to drive maximum benefit of all the goodies awaits them.

To make it easier for all, the Board deployed a dedicated desk officer to facilitate smooth registration of all the Islamiyya schools in the locality.

Speaking earlier, the facilitator, United Nation Children Education Fund (UNICEF), Mallam Mohammed Garba Umar enjoyed all attendees to take advantage of the kind gesture coning from the ISAEB and other supporting partners to improve the learning outcomes of teaming Islamiyya School pupils and children.

On his part, the Chairman of the proprietors Association forum, Mallam Mohammed Daha Ibrahim Urged his members to continue playing the complementary roles to support government’s efforts towards eradicating poverty through the provision of sound and qualitative education policies and programs coming from the Yobe State Government. Daha said

Similarly, the desk officer Islamiyya schools, Mallam Mohammed Ibrahim Galadima disclosed that so far he has registered thirty five Islamiyya schools.

Adding, that till this moment the registration is on going.
