The Save Kano Coalition, comprising various civil society organizations in Kano State, has urged the United States and international bodies to impose visa bans on Governor Abba Yusuf and his officials.
The group also calls for Kano State’s exclusion from international grants, condemning their role in the controversial nullification of the Emirates Council Law.
This plea follows the Kano Assembly’s recent legislation, which abolished all positions created under the previous law.
