So good so far, if Sokoto people have ever reeped good dividend of democracy, it was within the last 10 days of governor Ahmed Aliyu to cross over to his second tenure of office.
Those good days commence with the laying and flaged of boding- Dogon-idi and across 13 communities, flagged off by Kebbi state governor Dr. Nasir Idris and the distribution of 3,000 granding machines to women drawn across the 23 local government areas of the state
The following days, it was the commissioning of the 136 housing units at Kwanawa area of Sokoto, performed by former President Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo and the distribution of KEKE-NAPEP 150 nos and 1,500 mototcycle to the youths of Sokoto state
Followed by the laying of foundation for 5,000 wammakko housing estate by katukan Sokoto, former minister of police affairs, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi.
Also, the Zamfara state governor Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare was in Sokoto to commission projects and distribution of various items to the good people of Sokoto state.
There were other ceremonies across interest groups, artisan, men and women in Biz, the Hullamas, Islamiyas schools and colleges all were not left out in the 10memorable days of celebrations in Sokoto.
