In a significant move to support families of deceased workers, the administration of Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, has begun disbursing over N5 billion in backlog death benefits.
From January 2024, N1,829,877,486.40 and N3,264,446,595.64 have been allocated to settle claims dating from October 2019 to August 2023.
This crucial initiative, set to be completed by June 2024, covers both State and Local Government workers, showcasing the government’s commitment to honoring its financial obligations and supporting the bereaved.
