Katsina Sector Commander Charge Special Marshals

Mr. Ibrahim Bazama, Katsina State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has charged Special Marshals in the state to uphold the core values of the organisation in discharging their duty.

Bazama gave the charge while inaugurating New Special Marshals to observe fairness, timeliness, transparency among others.

He also advised them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity and be impartial at all times.

The Sector Commander reminded them that their roles as special Marshals extends beyond enforcing traffic law.

“You are also ambassadors of road safety, educating motorists and pedestrians on the importance of adhering to traffic rules and fostering culture of responsibility on our highways” he added.

Bazama said that they will work in synergy with other security agencies to ensure a safe and secure a motoring environment for all.

He commended them for the decision to join the prestigious Corps to render humanitarian services of saving lives on high ways.

Earlier in a remark, the State Coordinator of Special Marshals pharmacist. Peter Nyam pledged that the officers and men of Special Marshals will operate in line with the laid down rules and regulations of the FRSC.

Nyam charged the special Marshals to remained focused and remained disciplined at all times.

He explained that the job of Special is a voluntary and humanitarian service stressing that anyone that that is no longer interested can leave. End.
