In a region grappling with complex security challenges, the Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC has emerged as a beacon of excellence under the dynamic leadership of Commandant Aminu Datti Ahmad.
With a clear vision, unwavering discipline, and strategic community engagement, Commandant Datti has transformed the Katsina Command into what many now hail as the greatest NSCDC formation in the entire Northwest zone.
From intensified anti-vandal operations to collaborative intelligence sharing with sister agencies, the Command has consistently recorded impressive breakthroughs — including major clampdowns on illegal miners, foiled fuel diversion attempts, and the protection of critical infrastructure across volatile areas.
Commandant Datti’s results-driven approach has not only enhanced the morale and capacity of personnel but has also won the confidence of traditional institutions, civil society groups, and the general public.
“Our mission is clear — to serve, protect, and lead. Katsina must be safe, and we’re ready to give everything it takes,” Commandant Aminu Datti stated during a recent stakeholders’ engagement forum.
As commendations pour in from across the country, the NSCDC headquarters in Abuja is said to be closely monitoring the Katsina Command as a model of operational excellence and community-focused security delivery.
With Datti at the helm, Katsina’s NSCDC is not just securing lives — it’s setting the gold standard for civil defence in Northern Nigeria.
