The committee is tasked with coordinating the implementation of the Pulaku Initiative, reflecting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to improving the lives of all Nigerians.

Governor Radda, speaking on behalf of the seven state governors, revealed that Katsina, Kaduna, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Niger, and Benue will be the beneficiaries of this critical intervention.

The resettlement areas are designed to provide a sustainable solution to the challenges posed by banditry in these regions.

In addition to the construction of resettlement areas, the Pulaku Initiative encompasses various initiatives focused on enhancing the skills and entrepreneurial capabilities of the affected communities.

Notably, a poultry farming program is set to be implemented, offering individuals practical skills and opportunities to engage in sustainable economic activities.

The launch of the Pulaku Initiative signifies a comprehensive approach by the Federal Government to address the multifaceted issues contributing to insecurity in northern states. By combining resettlement efforts with skill-building initiatives, the government aims to create lasting solutions that empower communities and foster national unity.

As implementation commences, the success of this ambitious program holds the potential to transform the lives of those affected by banditry and contribute to the overall development of the nation.
