Katsina city radiated tradition and joy today as the 2025 Hawan Sallah festivities brought together leaders, royals, and residents in a vibrant show of heritage and harmony to mark Eid El Adha.
Leading the procession was the Emir of Katsina, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abdulmumin Kabir Usman, who rode gracefully on Festival Horse Bicycle alongside senior traditional titleholders — a timeless spectacle that reflected the emirate’s deep-rooted customs and reverence for Islamic values.
Among those in attendance were Secretary to the State Government, Abdullahi Faskari, Chief of staff to the governor Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Affairs, Abba Jaye, members of the State Executive Council, and lawmakers from the Katsina State House of Assembly. Their presence underscored a shared respect for tradition and a united front in leadership.
