NSCDC Commandant Hosts FRSC, ICPC Chiefs in Katsina, Strengthens Inter-Agency Ties

In a renewed push for enhanced synergy among security and anti-corruption agencies, the Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Wednesday welcomed top officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

The State Commandant of the NSCDC, Commandant Aminu Datti Ahmad (fsf, MADM), played host to the FRSC Sector Commander, RS 1.3 Katsina, Corps Commander MK Lede, at the Command Headquarters in Katsina. The visit, described as cordial and purposeful, was aimed at deepening cooperation between both agencies.

Corps Commander Lede applauded the warm hospitality extended by the NSCDC and reaffirmed his agency’s commitment to sustaining the strong collaboration. “Promoting safety and security in our society demands inter-agency cooperation, collaboration, and synergy,” he said.

In a separate visit, the ICPC Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner for Katsina and Zamfara States, Mr. Lodam Samuel S., also met with Commandant Ahmad. He emphasized the crucial role of partnerships in combating corruption and strengthening accountability in public service across the state.

Responding to both visits, Commandant Ahmad pledged the NSCDC’s unwavering commitment to closer working relationships, stressing that unity among agencies is vital for securing the state.

The event featured inspection of the quarter guard, presentation of souvenirs, and group photographs, symbolizing unity and renewed collaboration.
