The Sector Commander, RS 1.3 Katsina State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC, Corps Commander Maxwell Kaltungo Lede, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC.
Commander Lede, who was warmly received by the NSCDC State Commandant and his management team, said the visit was part of his ongoing familiarization tour aimed at fostering strong partnerships with key security stakeholders across the state.
Speaking during the interface, Lede emphasized the vital role of the NSCDC in maintaining internal security and protecting critical national assets, adding that synergy between the Corps and the NSCDC is essential to achieving a safe motoring environment and a secure society.
“We must build bridges of collaboration, not silos. Our mandate to ensure safety on Nigerian roads cannot succeed in isolation. It requires shared intelligence, mutual respect, and constant engagement with agencies like the NSCDC,” he stated.
In his remarks, the NSCDC Commandant Aminu Datti Ahmad commended the Sector Commander’s proactive outreach and reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to joint operations, intelligence sharing, and mutual support.
The visit was marked by warm camaraderie, shared vision, and a renewed pledge to strengthen inter-agency coordination in Katsina State for the good of the people.
