The entire family and friends of State Commandant Aminu Datti Ahmad of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Katsina State Command, are pleased to inform the general public of a momentous honour bestowed upon one of the nation’s gallant officers.
His Royal Highness, the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Dr. Faruq Umar Faruq, has graciously approved the turbaning of Commandant Aminu Datti Ahmad with the prestigious traditional title of Jarumin Kasar Hausa of Daura Emirate — a title reserved for men of exceptional courage, loyalty, and distinguished service to society.
The title, meaning “Brave Defender of Hausaland,” reflects Commandant Datti Ahmad’s unwavering dedication to security, community service, and the protection of lives and property across the state and beyond.
The date of the turbaning ceremony will be announced in due course.
The family and well-wishers extend heartfelt gratitude to His Royal Highness for this noble recognition and invite the public to join in celebrating this historic honour.
