A Coalition of Concerned People of Bauchi state has described Senator Halliru Dauka Jika as the best personality material for the governorship aspirant in Bauchi state come 2027 elections.
The coalition expressed the believe that at this crucial time in the political history of Bauchi state, and without prejudice to all the other governorship aspirants in the state, across all political parties, Senator Halliru Jika remained the only one with all the necessary qualities to lead Bauchi state in 2027.
The coalition’s coordinator, Hon. Ahmed Yero at a press conference in Bauchi weekend, stressed the need for the presentation of the best with regard to personality, good character and habits, with examplary conduct for the state to adopt in the 2027 governorship elections.
Without prejudice to all other governorship aspirants, we thought that Senator Halliru Dauda Jika have the necessary qualities to lead Bauchi state in 2027, taking into cognisance his past tract records dates back to 2007, when he was elected to represent Ganjuwa West State Constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly”.
‘Senator Halliru Jika was later elected by his colleagues to become the Speaker of the House as a speaker by his colleagues. He also contested the Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency where he returned elected as member Federal House of Representatives”.
“He serve as Chairman House Committee on Police Affairs for a complete tenure of 2015 to 2019. And based on his ability to prove himself as a good representative, his people decided to promote him to the rank of Senator for Bauchi Central Senatorial district which comprised of six LGAs”
Malam Ahmad Yero explained that it was against these backdrops that the coalition sampled people’s opinions across the state with positive responses supporting his qualification to aspire for the governorship of Bauchi state comes 2027 polls.
The coordinator who also recalled that Senator Halliru Dauka Jika contested for the gubernatorial elections in 2023, saying this time Bauchi people clamoured more for his contest as their next governor.
“It on this premise, that we successively written to various stake-holders across party line in the state, as well as the Royal fathers as the custodian of our traditional institutions, as well as the religious leaders all over the state seeking for their indulgence, support and prayers for this project”.
Yero therefore appealed to the entire people of Bauchi state, especially the youth and women,. particularly eligible voters across the 323 electoral wards in the state to embrace Senator Halliru Dauda Jika in the collective quest to see him become the Governor of Bauchi State come 2027.
“We also wish to request the support of the incumbent governor of the state, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, ‘Kauran Daular Ismaniyya on this project, as we assure him of our loyalty and humility of distinguished Senator Halliru Dauda Jika as a confident and able person to manage the affairs of Bauchi state”.
