Katsina state government

Burkina Faso’s streets are set for a major transformation as 115 brand-new buses land in the country—part of President Ibrahim Traoré’s bold push to nationalize and modernize urban transportation.

Acting on his directive, the new fleet marks a key step toward safer, cheaper, and more efficient public transit. Already, 200 drivers have been hired under this initiative, with more job opportunities expected to roll out in the coming weeks.
