Suspects Flee as Operatives Seize Firearms and Hard Drugs
The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has intensified its crackdown on criminal elements with a successful raid in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area, leading to the recovery of firearms and other illicit items.
In a pre-dawn operation on April 28, 2025, the Ibiono Ibom Surveillance Team, acting on credible intelligence, stormed a suspected criminal den in Ikot Odube Ono Village around 1:30 a.m.
