Hajj 2025: Jama’are Emir Leads Bauchi Pilgrims To Saudi Arabia

As the count down to this year’s Hajj pilgrimage gathers momentum, Bauchi state has constituted the 2025 Haji team that would guide the state intending pilgrims to the up coming religious obligation in Saudi Arabia.

Under the hajj pilgrimage guide arrangement, the state governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed approved the appointment of the Jama’are Emir, Alh. Nuhu Ahmadu Wabi 111 as this year’s Bauchi Amirul Hajj to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The composition of the Amirul Hajj team comprised of individuals of proven dedication, administrative competence, and deep understanding of Hajj operations, whose selection is based on merit, and their track records of selfless service.

A press statement signed by the Special Adviser to the state governor on media and publicity, Mukhtar Gidado Mohammed Tuesday, described the Amirul Hajj as a highly respected traditional ruler known for his wealth of experience, integrity, and leadership in religious and public affairs.

Alh. Mukhtar Gidado explained that Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has full confidence in the Amirul Hajj team’s ability to discharge its duties with diligence, transparency, and commitment to the welfare of the state intending pilgrims to the Holy land.

Gidado gave other members of the Amirul  Hajj Team to include the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Yakubu Suleiman, and the State Chief Judge, Justice Rabi Talatu Umar

Also on the team are the State Grand Khadi, Hon. Khadi Umar Liman; Commissioner for Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs,
Hon. Isa Babayo Tilde; and Bauchi Central Mosque Chief Imam, Imam
Bala Ahmed Baban-Inna as members, while the.commissioner for Religious Affairs, Eng. Mohammed Binni Abdulkadir serves as secretary.

Special Adviser Gidado said that their appointments underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to provide guidance ,  religious oversight, support, and leadership to ensure the spiritual well-being of the state pilgrims throughout the Hajj exercise.

According to him, the Bauchi State Government under the inspirational leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed remained committed to ensuring that this year’s Hajj, like previous exercises is successful, hitch-free, and spiritually rewarding for all pilgrims.

The team, the adviser stated, will work in collaboration with relevant authorities, including the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board , National Hajj Commission of Nigeria ( NAHCON ) to ensure a seamless and successful pilgrimage .

He said that Governor Mohammed had urged the appointed team to discharge their duties diligently, with the utmost sincerity, and in accordance with the principles of fairness, justice and equity .

The adviser therefore called on the state intending pilgrims to the Holy land to cooperate fully with the Amirul Hajj team and uphold the sanctity and discipline expected of them during the sacred pilgrimage.
