Yobe Unveils New 60MVA Transformer

The Secretary to the Yobe State Government, Baba Malam Wali, inspected a newly supplied 60MVA 132/33KV mobile Injection Transformer in conjunction with the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) at the 330/132/33KV sub-station in Damaturu on Wednesday, April 16, 2024.

In a statement by Shuaibu Abdullahi the press secretary to the SSG Yobe State Alhaji Baba Malam Wali said, This significant development is part of the state government’s comprehensive efforts to improve power supply, aligning with the vision of Governor Hon Mai Mala Buni’s administration to enhance the state’s infrastructure and promote economic growth.

The transformer is expected to substantially boost power supply in Yobe State, addressing longstanding challenges and fostering an environment conducive to social and economic activities.

According to him by investing in critical infrastructure like this transformer, the government aims to stimulate economic development, attract investments, and improve the overall quality of life for its citizens. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to delivering on its promises and driving progress in the state.
