In a chilling revelation on his X account, Delta State Police PRO, SP Bright Edafe, recounted the horrific acts of a notorious kidnap syndicate that had terrorized multiple communities.
According to Edafe, the gang abducted a young realtor, Miss Esther Ojoh, only to murder her the next day. In a separate attack, they killed a man and kidnapped his wife and two children. A medical doctor also fell victim — snatched and released only after a ransom of ₦15 million was paid.
“The funniest part?” Edafe wrote. “The gang leader runs a normal business in Onitsha while doubling as a kidnap kingpin.”
Their reign, however, has ended. The Commissioner of Police’s Special Assignment team stormed their hideout, leading to a fierce gun battle that left four gang members dead and three AK-47 rifles recovered.
“May the souls of those they murdered rest in peace,” Edafe concluded. “But for theirs — na God go decide that one.”
