Today at Mairi and Gwange Primary Healthcare Centers in Damaturu, and Bolewa ‘A’ and Dogon Zare wards Primary Healthcare Centers in Potiskum, healthcare workers providing services to mothers and children.
In a statement by Mamman Mohammed the DG press and media affairs to governor Buni said, this has brought succour to the people who do not need to travel far distances to access medical services for ailments that can be treated at the Primary health centers.
Similarly, it has contributed to decongesting the secondary and tertiary health institutions.
The commitment of the state government under Gov. Buni to provide healthcare services in the last few years has earned the state some recognition, awards and prices notably from the Bill and Melinda, and the Dangote foundations respectively.
