The Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, under the leadership of Commandant of Corps Aminu Datti Ahmad joined top military and paramilitary officials at Forward Operating Base 213 of the Nigerian Air Force to receive the National Security Adviser (NSA) to the President, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, during his visit to the state.
Mallam Ribadu’s visit to Katsina was a solemn one, as he came to commiserate with Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari.
Following his arrival, the NSA and his entourage visited Muhammadu Buhari House to extend condolences to the Governor and people of Katsina on behalf of the National Security Council. He also offered prayers for the late Hajiya, seeking Allah’s mercy and eternal rest for her in Jannatul Firdaus.
Joining him on the visit were several high-profile dignitaries, including Senator Shehu Umar Buba, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Security, and Retired General Sarkin Yaki Bello.
